This summer I had the opportunity to put together my first styled shoot and it was so much fun!
For those of you not familiar with what styled shoots are - basically, a bunch of wedding vendors get together to create a beautiful mock wedding; photographers and videographers document the event & then everyone who participated can use the images or films for marketing. They are super fun for us wedding vendors because we get to really let our creativity run wild! On this shoot, I worked with some of the best in the biz (in my humble opinion). Seriously though, I would 1,000% recommend every single one of these vendors time and time again. It truly was the dream wedding vendor team! Events by Eva | Megan

This gal! Man oh man, I cannot recommend her enough. Megan reached out to me after I posted in a business Facebook group asking if any wedding vendors wanted to participate in a styled shoot I was putting together. This being my first shoot like this, I had no idea what I was doing to be honest. Megan offered to help me with planning and day of coordinating & was a total life saver! Every step of the planning process, Megan was there with the best advice & recommendations. I am certain this shoot wouldn't have been as amazing as it was without her planning and coordinating expertise!
Not only is she an amazing planner, she is a jack of all trades! Our makeup artist for the shoot had to cancel & Megan helped me try to find someone else to work with us, but because it was so last minute, we couldn't find anyone available. Megan stepped up in a major way & did our bridal model's makeup!! It turned out so beautiful! Megan also curated the elegant tablescape shown below & came up with a super unique idea she wanted to incorporate into the shoot. She combined two trends she has noticed lately in the wedding world - pops of bright color & brides changing into something more fun and easy to dance in for their reception. How stinkin' fun! I really hope to see more brides hoping on this trend!

Paige is such an incredible hairstylist! I gave her no direction & told her to use this as a time for creativity - I am so impressed with the results! She asked what our theme was and for photos of the dress we would be using to make sure she picked a style that would perfectly complement everything. Our theme was a romantic feel with timeless touches and pops of purples. If you aren't sure what you want your wedding day style to be, Paige will definitely help you decide what will be most stunning fit for you! All About The Bride | Jenifer

Jenifer might be one of the sweetest, most kind hearted people I have ever met. I honestly hope to work with her time and time again! She is the owner of All About The Bride in Red Bank, a bridal boutique specializing in focusing on one bride at a time by allowing them to shop by appointment only. Jenifer truly has a passion for her business and wants to make sure each bride she serves feels special and well taken care of! Not to mention she carries some of the most gorgeous gowns I have ever seen, with the most unique selection. Just look at this beauty she chose for our shoot! The lace detailing on the bodice with geometric patterned sequins on the skirt is an unexpected pair, but honestly works so well & I'm here for it! This dress gives me modern "Romeo & Juliet" vibes! There is no denying that Giorgio Men's Warehouse is THE place to go shopping your men's formal-wear in Chattanooga, but they have also recently launched their online store! Giorgio has the largest selection of suits & men's wear that is tailor fitted just for you. One of my favorite things about this shop is that they offer an all inclusive wedding package that includes basically everything you will need to look sharp on your wedding day at an extremely affordable price! We chose this classic grey tux with a satin purple tie to match our lavender pop of color theme & it was such a timeless look! Grooms, don't even bother going anywhere else - Giorgio is where you will find exactly what you're looking for in your wedding day attire!
Isbill Floral Gallery | Connie
Connie is the owner & florist of Isbill Floral Gallery in Cleveland and let me just tell ya, she will make your floral dreams come true no matter what your budget is! I sent her a few ideas/inspiration from Pinterest & told her to be creative with it, we mostly just wanted a purple floral theme because it is one we don't see used very often. When she showed up with these florals, I was fixated on the purple flower shown above with the rings & in center of the table runner. I asked her what type of flower it was because I was unfamiliar with it - you guys it is actually kale! How cool, creative, & budget friendly is that? If I was a bride with a lavender/purple color scheme, I would definitely be asking for some kale in my bouquet! I am so impressed with Connie's arrangements & her warm personality! I will for sure be ordering all my future florals from her!
The Copper Quail

If you need any type of rentals to upscale your wedding tables or any decor, The Copper Quail will be sure to have exactly what you're searching for! They carry a wide variety of styles, but specialize in vintage/rustic with a mix of modern tableware, furniture, backdrops, seating, rugs, & even novelty decor items! For this shoot, we chose to use classic crystal glassware goblets & candle holders with a mix of tarnished silver chargers & polished silverware. I love how these look together, these rentals helped elevate our tablescape to match the romantic, timeless wedding theme we were going for! Cag's Cakes | Cagney

Cagney has a home bakery & makes the most delicious wedding cake I have ever tasted, it is to die for! She also specializes in the cutest decorative sugar cookies that are my absolute fave - seriously I have personally ordered a dozen for a family get together and I may or may not have eaten half of them all on my own, they are just that good! Looking back, I wish I would have asked her to make some cookies for this shoot so I could show you just how pretty they are, but I think this simple, elegant wedding cake showcases her work beautifully! Our florist included a few extra florals for us to decorate the cake with & I think Cagney did an excellent job with this classic wedding cake design! You have got to check out her Instagram to see the full range of her decorating talents & just take my word for how incredible her cakes & baked goods taste!

I cannot say enough good things about Justin - He creates the most captivating, emotion evoking wedding films and was such a pleasure to work with! Justin is so calm, cool, and collected, but also somehow your own personal energetic hype-man! He will simultaneously keep you calm & cheer you on during your wedding day. His energy & talent is unmatched and exactly what I would want in my wedding videographer. I totally regret my decision to not have a videographer on my wedding day & wish I could go back and do it all over again just to hire Justin to capture it! You can't go wrong hiring this guy, he will capture your wedding story in the most beautiful way! I can't stress enough how much these wedding films will be worth your investment!
Howe Farms

Last but certainly not least, I wanted to say a huge special thank you to Howe Farms in Georgetown for hosting this wonderful styled shoot! Howe Farms has some of the most friendly & kind staff I have ever met - heck one of them volunteered to be our model for the shoot (special thanks to the gorgeous, Rebecah, and her man, Wes, for modeling as our bride and groom)! The property houses several beautiful venues, perfect for all styles of bride, as well as many scenic prime photo spots! We chose to take most of the portraits of the couple you will find below in a private little nook in the back of the property that I like to call the Enchanted Forest. You will see why I like to call it that if you keep scrolling, the light there is truly magical! Not only does Howe Farms have several venues & photo spots to choose from, they also own a few vintage getaway cars available for rental that I think add a timeless touch to any wedding day! The grounds also has several places to stay overnight if you have out of town guests or want to spend your wedding night close by before jetting off to your honeymoon. They are truly an all inclusive venue!
